Laurie is the firm’s premier liaison with the Canada Revenue Agency in providing exceptional service to clients.
With more than 30 years of experience as an accountant, Laurie believes in responding to each client‘s needs in a timely manner. As a generalist, he consults with a variety of businesses including law firms, real estate offices, printing companies, the retail and manufacturing sector, contractors such as electricians and plumbers, and service providers in the areas of snow removal, road repairs and roofing.

I have also been known to take up our clients‘ disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency to try to serve them to the best of my ability to achieve the best results.”
Laurie graduated from Queen‘s University in accounting. He began his career as a junior partner at Kerzner & Mortfield, then became a full partner at Mortfield & Weingarten. For 25 years, he was senior partner at Weingarten, Ross & Cash before joining Hennick Herman, LLP in 2008. He is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
An avid sports enthusiast, Laurie has played recreational hockey, football, basketball and baseball over the years. Other passions include participating in horseshoe tournaments and travelling to the United States and the Caribbean. Laurie is also a great cook. He and his wife Marion have four children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
